Instructions ::

Notification of Attendance

Monthly attendance in theory as well as practical in respect of each subject shall be calculated immediately at the end of every month.

The names of students attending less than 75% classes shall be notified periodically in the notice board for improvement.

Medical Check up

Periodical medical examination shall be conducted inside the campus. All the students are advised to take the advantage of the same.

Lesson Plan & Progress

All the teaching staffs of the Institution will prepare the Lesson Plan for the Current Academic Session in th month of July. The lesson plan should be prepared on the assumption that atleast 30 academic weeks will be agailable to a teacher in one academic session. The lesson should be planned in such a way that it will include the completion of the course, class test, routine test etc and no class will be dropped due to the completion of the course before 31st January of the next year of the Current Academic Session. They are to maintain in the progress register of the department regarding the progress of their course in each class. The lesson plan and the progress register is to be submitted to the Prncipal for verification every month (1st week).

Seminal Activities

a) Conduct of Seminar : Presentation of paper is binding upon each final year, 2nd Year Hons and 1st year Hons, students of every department in an academic session. The amount collected for the purpose shall be drawn for every seminar in equal instalments depending on the no. of seminars proposed for that session. HOD/Prof.-in-charge of seminar is to take care while recommending the drawl of such amount as the said fund is not to be diverted for any other purpose strictly. The amount so collected from the students shall be forfeited in proportion to the no. of seminars not conducted what so ever may be the reason.

b) Conduct of Puja Function : Final year Hons. students with 2nd year Hons. students and 2nd year Hons students with 1st year Hons students are required to organise and conduct Ganesh Puja and Saraswati Puja respectively in each session. For each occasion the budget should not axceed the specified amount collected for the purpose.

c) Conduct of Welcome and Farewel Function : Final year Honours students with 2nd year Hons. students and 2nd year Hons students with 1st. year Hons. students are to conduct Welcome and Farewel Function respectively in each session. For each occasion the budget should not exceed the specified amount collected for the purpose.

It may be noted that in no case extra amount should be contributed by the students without the recommendation of concerned H.O.Ds followed by the approval of the Principal. These functions should be held inside the college campus strictly.

Conduct of Study Tour / Field study

The following guidelines should be strictly followed before proposing a study tour.

a) Study tour shall be conducted as a part of course curriculum.

b) The amount required for the purpose shall be entirely borne by the participating students.

c) No amount should be contributed by the students in excess of the subscription approved by the Principal for the purpose.

d) Proposal should be submitted sufficiently ahead so that there should not be any difficulty in getting Rly. reservations without which permission shall not be granted particularly when girls students or lady teacher participate in the group.

e) Detailed Plan and Tour Programme should be submitted to the Principal duly recommended by the H.O.D.s concerned.

f) Puja Vacation is the ideal period of the conduct of such tours and missing of class work for the purpose should be avoided unless otherwise wanted.

g) An account of expenditure must be notified by the concerned H.O.Ds.

h) A Study Tour Report must be submitted to the Principal for record.

Roster Duty

a) Roster duty for vacations should be prepared by the office in such a manner that there will be no difficulty for the issue of C.L.C., Rly. concession, Scholarship, Admit Card, Admission forms and Issues of Marksheet during the vacation.

b) The class rooms and the college corridors are cleaned atleast a day before the college reopens.

Work Experience

Work experience, which is of practical nature viewed a purposive and meaningful manual work organised as an integral part of learning process. Some of the teachers are required to act as teacher of work experience. They have to design the syllabus keeping the provisions and amminities available in the college in view, of smooth implementation to be useful for the community.

Work experience program should cover around 7 areas of human needs such as foods, health and hygiene, clothings, shelter, education, culture recreation and socio moral service. Contribution of activities should be balanced over its 3-dimensions namely- life skills, production and community.

Concerned teachers shall be responsible in respect of programme, planning, excution and evaluation of the group assigned to him. The scheme shall be regulated as per the provisions specified in the respective courses of studies.
