Incentives ::

STIPEND AND SCHOLARSHIP

1. Past metric Scholarship : The scheduled cast and scheduled tribe students are eligible to get the stipend from district welfare office provided they have applied in prescribed form available in college office within the stipulated time.

2. National Scholarship : Ordinarily the students who have secured 70%of marks in aggregate in H.S.C. Examination are likely to get this scholarship.

3. Junior Merit Scholarship : The students who gave secured 50%of marks or more in aggregate in the H.S.C. Annual Examination are eligible to apply. However the annual income of their parents should within the limit of Rs.24,000/-

4. Senior Merit Scholarship : The students who have secured 60% of marks or more in annual C.H.S.E. Examination are eligible to apply. It is awarded to Degree Students.

5. Junior college Merit cum means Scholarship : The students who have secured 50%of marks or more in H.S.C. Examination within the Annual income of Rs. 24,000 of their parents are eligible to apply.

6. Hindi Scholarship : The students of non Hindi speaking states taking Hindi as one of the subjects are awarded this scholarship on the H.S.C. result.

7. Sanskrit Scholarship : The students who have passed annual H.S.C. Examination with 50% of marks or more taking Sanskrit as one of the subject in +2 level are awarded this scholarship.

8. Teacher's Children Scholarship : This scholarship is awarded to children of primary and secondary school Teachers who have secured 60% of marks or more in first appearance. However the annual income of teacher should not more than Rs.75, 000/-.

9. Orthopaedically Handicapped Scholarship : The blind, deaf, dump and other orthopaedically handicapped students can apply to the district welfare Department in prescribed form available in college office.

MISCELLANEOUS AWARDS

1. Late Basanta Kumar Mahapatra Memorial running shield for Best debator of the college donated by Maj. B. K. Narendra. ex-Principal, Balugaon College.

2. Late Narasingha Mohapatra Memorial Award for securing highest mark in Political Science Honours, established by Sri Abhimanyu Swain, ex-student of the college.

3. Late Dhirendranath Nayak Memorial Award for securing highest mark in education in C.H.S.E. and University Examination established by Sri Biswa Bhusan Das, ex-student of the college.

4. Late Dhirendranath Nath Nayak Memorial Award to the winners of inter college Essay, Debate competition among the college students, best graduate of the college.There will be a seminar on educational topics every year in memory of the deceased soul. This award is established by Sri Bijay Kumar Rana, Gundupur Sahi, Balugaon, the nephew of D. N. Nayak.
