Committee ::
THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE The executive committee of the College Union shall consist of the following members. i) President ii) Vice-President iii) Secretary iv) Asst.Secretary v) One boy representative from each class. vi) One girl representative from each class. The quorum for a meeting of executive committee shall be 1/3rd of its members. A meeting adjourned for want to quorum shall not need a quorum at its next meeting provided at least 24 hours notice is given to the members. The Functions of the Executive committee a) To prepare the budget of the union. b) To draw of a programme of the union activities in accordance with the constitution. c) To approve the minutes of the previous meeting. WORKING COMMITTEE The principal as ex-officio president controls the fund. The vice-president nominated by the principal, may work as treasurer. The associated vice-presidents are nominated by the principal from among the members of the staff and one member nominated by the principal from among the students of the college. Their duties will include the realisation of loans from the beneficiaries. 1)Poor and deserving students of th college receive help for a period of nine months during a session ordinarily from August to April. 2)Article 13 of Union is applicable here. The principal shall be the final authority in all metters relating to the Guild. |
