Admission Rules :: Document/Testimonials to be produced at the time of admission. 1. All original certificates of which Xerox copies are submitted as per the list of enclosure here in. 2. Migration certificate if migrated from other Board/University. 3. Identity card in case of old students who have not taken CLC. 4. Any document which may be relevant and as specified in the intimation letter. Forfeiture of Claims for Admission 1. A candidate shall forfeit his/her claim if he/she fails to take admission on the specified date and time as intimated. 2. Postal delay or non delivery is not the responsibility of the principal. Principles of Selection 1. As prescribed by the Govt. merit and conduct shall be the criteria for selection. in no case admission can be claimed as a matter of right. 2. All selections are provisional prior to admission. 3. The principal reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant. Reservation of seats shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the Govt. from time to time. Weightage of % marks 1. Over and above the % of aggregate marks secured, appropriate weightage of marks shall be commuted subject to the rules and instructions of Govt. from time to time under different categories at the time of selection. 2. Weightage of marks may be recommended by the admission committee and approved by the Principal shall be given to the student of this college. 3. Weightage does not confer any right of reference. 4. Besides, the principal may communicate to the admission committee regarding weightage to the students of the college as per resolution taken by G.B. Intimation regarding Selection/Admission 1. Intimation Letter indicating date and time of admission will be sent under certificate of posting to the selected candidates. 2. The list of selected candidate will be publishd on the college notice board. 3. Candidates are advised to go through the college notice board from time to time to avoid postal delay or loss of the intimation letter. 4. In case the candidates do not get their intimation letter for admission within a week after the last date of submission, they are directed to contact with the college office either personally or by post. 5. Candidates selected for admission are required to face an interview with the principal/selection committee along with parents/natural guardian on the date of admission. Extension of admission date Ordinarily no extension of time/date is allowed. However the principal reserves the right to extend the admission date at his/her discretion. But in all such hard cases allotement of seats may remain in force on the written request for seven days from the original date of admission on payment of Rs 5/- per day & Rs. 30/- per week. Undertaking An undertaking in the body of the application form is to be signed by the student as well as the father/mother/legal guardian to the effect that the student shall abide by the rules of the college. Important Information 1. In no case admission can be claimed as a matter of right. 2. An applicant may be refused to take admission without assigning any reason. 3. With regard to any thing not covered in the prospectus/any dispute in the interpretation of rules. The decision in the principal is final. 4. Any of the rules and regulations mentioned in this prospectus may be changed at short notice/without any notice. 5. The decision of principal in all matters regarding admission is final and binding. Re-Admission All the student who are promoted to next higher class are required to deposit the following fees on the date notified by the principal. a) All the sessional fees as per the prospectus of the college. b) Development fees - Rs. 300/- In addition to above fees Hons. students have to pay the additional fees as stated below as a part of re-admission. a) Seminar fees (as applicable) b) Seminar Puja Function, Welcome and Farewel meeting 2nd yr. - Rs. 200/- 3rd yr. - Rs. 150/- Career Oriented Course (For T.D.C. Arts Students) In addition to above fees Career Oriented course students have to pay the additional fees as stated below as a part of re-admission. a) Certificate Rs. 200/- b) Diploma 1st Year Rs. 200/- 2nd Year Rs. 300/- c) Advance Diploma 1st Year Rs. 200/- 2nd Year Rs. 300/- 3rd Year Rs. 500/- |
